We had to replace a sun tunnel (like a skylight) that the previous owners put in over 10 years ago. My husband patched it up when it first started leaking in the fall, but started leaking again along with another vent pipe.
I guess there are worse things to have to spend the money on...medical bills, for example.

It's nice to be reminded of an upside to shelling out over 1K in rent each month for about eleven square feet.
Sorry about your refund expenditure...It sucks being a grown-up.
