Pics from the yard
No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me From life's first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand (from In Christ Alone song)
This was the first tulip, but it was gone the next day along with chewed up leaves. I'm suspecting the below partook of some nourishment.
these pictures are amazing as usual... did you take some of these lying on the ground???? wondering how you got the angles on some of them. the first ones don't even look real. the colors are just fabulous..... what a great thing to see on this dreary (for me) monday morning. reminds me of God's beauty....
Oh, I just laid my camera on the ground and tried to get myself out of the way. I was inspired by some picture in a magazine, and it's now my favorite view this year.
I love it when we sing that song at church, but get so choked up that I rarely am able to sing it myself.
Beautiful flowers! My sister-in-law is an arranger at a flower shop. She brought me some amazing lilies a few days ago. I get so excited every morning to see if any more have opened!
A really good pot is in the details. --Doug Casebeer at the Ceramics Workshop in Jamaica '10
There's only one way to grow while making art: take risks and allow yourself to make a lot of bad work, then look at it. I consider what is working well, what missed the mark or confused the reading, what needs to be adjusted on the next one. --Linda Arbuckle in The Penland Book of Ceramics
All great actions have been simple, and all great pictures are. --Ralph Waldo Emerson
Almost all photos are my property (even the bad ones). Please ask if you would like to copy them. Don't think anyone would, but just in case please ask. Thanks!
