Cats of Mirikitani

Watched something good on TV last night on Independent Lens. This was a story about a man living on the street in New York with a fascinating past. You can read about it on the link. What was most impressive about this story was that during 9/11/01 the filmmaker invited him to come in to her apartment to get out of the toxic clouds of smoke. He actually ended up living with her for a long time! Talk about loving your neighbors!!!

you and melanie are really opening my eyes to visual art again. music has always been my mode of expression, refreshment, awe of God and so on. I'm learning to think through poetry, photography and other art in a way I haven't for years. thanks.

by the way - I voted for the darth vader stamp. thank your hubby for the info!
