I used to be afraid of bees. My mom says I was stung by my eye as a toddler...I don't remember; I just remember being terrified. I loved going to Medora in the summer, except there were always a lot of bees around for some reason. Guess I'm growing out of it. I took these shots thinking that the bees are more interested in the bee balm and flowers than me.
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philipians 4:13

when i took out the trash yesterday i noticed that the bee balm was swarming with bees. i thought to myself, gee, kim must really hate neighbor kids.
maybe i should consider planting bee balm in place of my rose bush...then you-know-who won't ring my doorbell 7 times in as many hours.
where are the birds? don't they go together?
Here's what my mom emailed me:
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO A BEE TO TAKE A PICTURE!
I remember when you got stung as a baby. you were sitting on the front steps. You would start running as a teenager. I'm also surprised you go a picture of a bee without it being blurred from shaking.
