I'm in Minneapolis. My mom is elated that she is ready for surgery! She is scheduled to have a Whipple procedure on Thursday morning at 7:45 a.m. You're prayers would be much appreciated! At least one of my sisters is planning to come tomorrow from N.D., and the weather forecast isn't very good. My brother from Illinois is coming today.

had to look up what a whipple procedure is.... i'm so glad you're there with your mom. i was wondering where you had been, and have been missing your posts... of course will be praying for your family.... will pray for God's shalom for you all this next couple of days....

hey, praying for you and your mom. you are missed here in wichita but I know it's wonderful that you can be there for your mom. you'd be proud of your husband! he brought yummy food and filled some of us in on your mom and you at our Easter brunch (which really was too early to be called brunch). we'll be praying before and during surgery.
