New word for me

Verisimilitude: Probability. There is a high verisimilitude that these flowers will be wilted in a few days.

Immolate: To kill as a sacrificial victim.

These words were in the book A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael.

    Kim-

I like that word, too. (Verisimilitude)

I also love the word vicissitude, and I love its meaning: a favorable or unfavorable event or situation that occurs by chance : a fluctuation of state or condition (the vicissitudes of daily life).

    V-words. Nice words.
